Construction of a wind farm is a very complex process. The investment should be divided into several phases:

• Amendment of the Local Spatial Development Plan;
• Selection of the turbines' supplier and negotiations;
• Cooperation with the power utility concerning the discussion and development of a draft interconnection agreement;
• Development of a power purchase agreement.

3.    Permitting

• Preparation of the Environmental Impact Assessment;
• Performance of geological studies;
• Development of power engineering designs;
• Development of building permit designs;
• Acquisition of a promise of the license for production of electricity;
• Acquisition of required permits.

4.    Financing of Projects:

• Selection of the strategic investor;
• Organization of "debt financing" with main banking institutions;
• Joint Implementation Procedures;
• Searching for alternative sources of financing.

5.    Completion of investment:

• Close cooperation with contractors – development of a "turnkey" project;
• Selection of contractors;
• Cooperation with suppliers of turbines and transformer stations;
• Construction of the wind farm.

6.    Operation:

• Maintenance of the wind farm;
• Cooperation with suppliers of wind turbines;
• Legal, financial and accounting services;
• Cooperation with the power utility.

      At the beginning of investment implementation, one should remember to check a series of factors, so as to enable the investor to implement the planned investment in the future without any problems. It is connected with the fact that the developer takes on a demanding task to complete, starting from finding appropriate site, through obtaining access to the power grid, to ensuring that the energy generated by the wind farm is fed into the grid.

      Only professionals with proper specialist personnel at their disposal are able to accurately assess to what extent and how feasible the idea of a given wind farm is.
